LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar 2024 Daily Countdown

Welcome back to the Jay’s Brick Blog Daily daily countdown of the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar!

This is the 4th year in a row that we’re getting a Marvel-themed Advent Calendar, but this time, it’s Spider-Man themed which should delight fans of everyone’s favourite web-crawler!

This year, I’ll be counting down all 6 LEGO Advent Calendars – Star Wars, Harry Potter, Friends, City Disney and Spider-Man.

Special thanks to LEGO for sending this set for review.

To make it easier for you to check out each day’s section, as this post is going to grow longer with every new window, all you have to do is click on the Day you want, and you will instantly jump to the corresponding section.

How does the daily advent calendar countdown work?

If you’re new here, I post daily updates on each window of the 2024 Spider-Man Advent Calendar. I usually post updates in the late afternoon, but sometimes if things get too busy, updates will be posted in the evening. I’ll update this post each day, as I don’t really enjoy the practice of creating new posts for each day as it keeps it so much cleaner, so bookmark this post to come back every day!

Unlike other sites, I’m actually opening each window as I go, and I’ve been able to be relatively spoiler-free to be as surprised as I can get. All reviews, thoughts and reactions are live as we go along, there are no pre-planned photos or thoughts, unless I happen to be travelling or away from home.

Do note that I’m based in Melbourne, Australia (GMT +11) so we’re ahead of most of the world (except New Zealand) so to avoid spoilers, try to come back to this post after you’ve opened your window and built the daily model especially if you’re located in other time zones.

PS: If you’re planning to buy any LEGO for Christmas and would like to support the work I do blog, please use these affiliate links if you’re shopping on AmazonAmazon Australia or LEGOcom!

I receive a small commission if you purchase something, which helps support the work I do on the blog!

While you’re here, please also subscribe to the blog if you’d like to find out about other posts which cover LEGO news, reviews and random musings!

To follow along, it’s best to bookmark this post to check back each day. You can also find a link to this post from the home page via a link in the top navigation bar. If you’re on mobile, you have to expand the burger menu (the button with the 3 lines) to find it.

Here’s the front of the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar, which folds out to form a playmat of sorts where you can display all the mini builds. There’s a New York skyline along with a broken window in one, and an apartment depicted on open flap.

Remember, we count upwards from 1 to 24, so don’t make the mistake of going backwards!

As always, the instruction of each day’s builds are printed on the inside of the doors, so be careful and try not to rip them out!

Without wasting any time, let’s get started with the 2024 Spider-Man Advent Calendar countdown!

Day 1

Day 1 starts off with everyone’s favourite friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man minifigure! This is the standard Spider-Man with printed arms that has appeared in most 2024 Spider-Man sets, and he’s equipped with some webbing, and a printed pizza tile.

It’s not a bad minifigure, and a nice bonus if you don’t own many LEGO Spider-Man sets, but I do wish this had a bit more of a festive/Christmasy vibe to set it apart. The printed Pizza Tile is a nice bonus, however.

Not off to a great start, but younger builders will enjoy a Spider-Man minifigure from the get go. Here’s hoping the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar improves tomorrow so check back in to see what we get on Day 2!

Day 2

Day 2 and we already get a stinker in the 2024 Spider-Man Advent Calendar with a bunch of webbing. Yup. Just a bunch of webbing accessories for Spider-Man.

This gives back awful flashback of the 2023 Advent Calendar where we also got a day of webbing (Day 4) but I guess they’re trying to get this out of the way earlier this year.

These attach to the snowcone yesterday, so don’t chuck those in your spare parts bowl!

Incredibly wasteful day, and I wish they’d take some lessons from last year and not bother with Webbing Days. I can’t understand why it’s so difficult to just package these with Spider-Man.

Oh well, it can only get better from here right?

Day 3

After Day 2’s disaster day of webbing, we get a nice little build on Day 3, with a Newspaper Box/Stand, plus a Green rubbish bin. You’re meant to attach one of the web elements from yesterday here, to hold the brown backpack, and this provides a bit of scenery and potentially clues to what we can expect from the Advent Calendar. Maybe we’re building a Street Scene for Spider-Man inspired by New York?

That’s it for Day 3! At least it isn’t more webbing!

Day 4

On Day 4 we get a Street Lamp with a camera attached to it and a banana peel! It’s a cute little bit of a street furniture, and I like the callback to Peter Parker attaching his camera to various things to snap photos of himself as Spider-Man.

The inclusion of the banana peel element is also a fun bonus as it’s still a relatively uncommon element and quite fun as an accessory. It’s just a shame that the street signs aren’t printed and are just plain green tiles!

Times must be tough for Peter Parker if he has to resort getting photos of Spider-Man slipping on banana peels to sell to the Daily Bugle!

Overall, a really fun addition with plenty of playability. Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 5!

Day 5

The 2024 Spider-Man Advent Calendar is on a mission to redemption with Day 5 giving us another great window with a Venom minifigure.

While this is your stock standard Venom minifigure, LEGO have jazzed him up by giving him a festive red scarf, and a hot dog to snack on.

Despite the hiccup that was Day 2’s Webbing, we’re doing pretty well all things considered with Spidey and Venom making an appearance so early.

Let’s see what we get tomorrow in Day 6’s window!

Day 6

On Day 6 of the Spider-Man Advent Calendar, we get another New York staple, a Hot Dog Cart! The construction of this is quite clever, and it wouldn’t look out of place in a LEGO City set.

I guess that explains where Venom got his hot dog from. No Hot Dog Vendor… maybe Venom ate him? Oh, and you get a bonus sausage as well which is always fun!

I’m really like these builds of quintessential New York builds so far. I’ll have to admit, the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar is really on a mission to redemption after the waste of webbing day. Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 7!

Day 7

On Day 7 we have a Traffic Light and Fire Hydrant, yet another slice of urban New York! The design is pretty good, and adding more street furniture to what we already have does expand and fill the scene in a nice way.

Here’s all the builds up to Day 7! Not too shabby and I like how substantial most of the builds are! Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 8 of the LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar!

Day 8

The 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar continues to impress with clever builds and on Day 8 we get Miles Morales’ Spidey Car! The design of this sleek Spideymobile is really neat, and I like the proportions and also the sense of motion that the blue flames from the exhaust creates.

If you’ve felt like you’ve seen this car before, it’s based on the 76244 Miles Morales vs. Morbius set that released in 2023!

Very neat throwback and I can’t wait to see what we get tomorrow on Day 9. Is this a little hint that we’ll get a Miles Morales minifigure? I sure hope so!

Day 9

It’s not Miles, but we get Spider-Gwen on Day 9 of the LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar! Also known as Ghost Spider, Gwen Stacey is fast becoming a fan-favourite amongst Spiderverse fans.

This version of Spider-Gwen isn’t exclusive as it’s the same one as the one from the 76178 Daily Bugle and other smaller Spider-Man sets, but I do like the inclusion of her drumsticks, which feels like a nod to the Across the Spiderverse variant.

A very solid day and a very solid character that continues the great run of great builds that we’re getting. Check back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 10!

Day 10

Following on from yesterday’s Spider-Gwen, on Day 10 we get a small Drum Kit build for her to play on. It’s another nod to Across the Spiderverse, where Gwen plays in a rock band, with the movie opening with her playing an elaborate solo on the drums.

I quite like that the bass drum, and toms are based on Ghost Spider colours.

I wish Spider-Man and Venom got some instruments to join the band! Not a bad accompanying build and one that complements Gwen Stacy quite nicely. Check back in tomorrow to see what Day 11 brings us!

Day 11

On Day 11 we get a Present Launcher/Catapult. It’s a pretty forgettable accessory, but provides some fun playability to the Advent Calendar with the ability to launch these presents all over your living room.

There are 2 presents, one in Gwen Stacy’s colours, and a dark red and black gift. Maybe a nod to Miles Morales? Hopefully we get him soon!

Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 12!

Day 12

We get more Christmas-themed decorative items with Day 12’s Candy Cane in Spider-Man colours. It’s a super simple build, but it works visually, and it looks large and prominent enough to go alongside the other street furniture items.

This is the halfway mark of the Spider-Man Advent Calendar, and I daresay that the builds have been pretty satisfactory outside of several uneventful days. Compared to the other Advent Calendars, you can really see a cohesive theme taking place here with the models, which is always welcome.

Come back to see what we get for Day 13!

Day 13

It’s Friday the 13th, and we’ve gotten a particularly festive version of Miles Morales! Miles has a festive Christmas jumper/sweater on with some fun details like webs and candy canes on the front.

The back has his signature mask design topped by a Santa hat, plus some musical notes.

That’s it for Day 13! This is our first true exclusive minifigure, and a real highlight in the calendar so far. With 4 minifigures so far, I think the Spider-Man Advent Calendar has balanced the builds and minifigures particularly well! Come back to see what Day 14 will bring us tomorrow!

Day 14

The LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar continues to impress with Day 14’s Windup Rhino! This build is not only very clever, but also looks sensational using a random assortment of parts!

The build is a very clever way to incorporate one of Spider-Man’s most iconic enemies, but also integrate it into the Christmas-theme by turning him into a windup toy.

Extremely happy with Day 14’s Rhino, and can’t wait to see what we get tomorrow for Day 15! This Advent Calendar has really redeemed itself after the Day 2 webbing!

Day 15

On Day 15 of the Spider-Man Advent Calendar we get a sleek looking Spider-Man Race Car, which goes really nicely with Miles Morales’ one from Day 8!

I’m a big fan of these tidy little designs as they look sleek and futuristic, and I especially like how there are zero exposed LEGO studs!

The set is likely a nod to 76279 Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin which came out earlier this year!

A very tidy builds, and yet another fantastic day for the LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar! Poor Venom doesn’t have a snazzy sports car! Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 16!

Day 16

Day 16 of the Spider-Man Advent Calendar gives us a tidy little desktop computer build for Peter Parker to work and study on! It’s a basic but effective build and it does the job well for a filler day, while still feeling connected to the Spider-Man universe.

Why does Spider-Man need a computer? To surf the web, of course!

Check back tomorrow to see what Day 17 brings us!

Day 17

On Day 17 we get a cosy fireplace which has a red and black Christmas stocking hanging from it. I guess the black one could be either Venom or Miles Morales’ stocking, so its up to you to guess which one!

That’s it for Day 17! Come back to see what we get on Day 18 as we head into the final week of this Advent Calendar!

Day 18

It looks like Spidey and his friends are beginning to lay out a trap for Santa, and in true New Yorker style, they’ve added a succulent pizza to the usual Milk and Cookies combo.

Delivering presents to children all over the world is incredibly hard work, so I’m sure Santa will appreciate a classic New York Pepperoni pizza! Check back tomorrow to see what Day 19 brings us!

Day 19

Oh no, it looks like Pizza and Cookies didn’t attract Santa, but Spider-Man’s nemesis, the Green Goblin on Day 19! Does he count as a Grinch?

This version of Green Goblin is quite nice, with a nefarious expression, and amazing detail on his torso, including tattered purple robes, and some armour. This is the same minifigure as the one from 76219 Spider-Man & Green Goblin Mech Battle, so isn’t an exclusive unfortunately. He comes with a pumpkin bomb and sack. Did he steal that from Santa…?

Here’s a look at his back printing.

Quite happy to get another villain to balance out the minifigures, although I do wish Green Goblin was a bit more festive! A Christmas/Santa version of him would be fantastic, but maybe Marvel couldn’t be convinced to make him festive…

Only 5 days remain in the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar! Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 20!

Day 20

Day 20 of the 2024 Spider-Man Advent Calendar gives us the Green Goblin’s Glider, but with a Christmas twist! It has been recoloured in traditional Red, Gold and Green Christmas colours, which suggests that the Green Goblin is here to spread cheer and terror for the holiday season!

The Goblin Glider is certainly faster and much cooler than a traditional Santa Sleigh, but just don’t expect presents and gifts to be raining from above! There’s a little clip on the Goblin Glider, suggesting that there’s something to attach to it!

Come back tomorrow to see what we get on Day 21 and if its an extension of the Glider!

Day 21

The clip on yesterday’s Christmas Goblin Glider was indeed a clue that more was to come! On Day 21, we get a trailer that attaches itself to the Goblin Glider, in a similar festive colour scheme.

There are 2 studs on the trailer, suggesting that there’ll be some presents to be added to it tomorrow, so check back to see what Day 22 brings us!

Day 22

On Day 22, we get some Presents for the Goblin’s Christmas Glider! We get a Spider-Man coloured gift, and a Snowglobe, which looks like its a nod to Mysterio thanks to the Magenta and Green. I guess it’s also fitting because Mysterio has a Snowglobe as a helmet!

Time to load up the Christmas Goblin Glider to deliver presents to New York!

Come back tomorrow to see what the second last day of the Advent Calendar will bring!

Day 23

Day 23 was a surprise for sure, a Spider-Ham Snowman! Peter Porker aka Spider-Ham, the Pig Spider-Man variant is captured here as a Snowman, featuring a brand new recoloured head element in white!

This is a really fun twist on getting a recently popular (thanks to the Into the Spiderverse animated movie), character with a festive twist, and a great exclusive for LEGO Spider-Man fans!

Here’s the lineup of all the minifigures so far! Come back tomorrow to find out the final build of the very excellent 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar and a wrapup of this calendar!

Somehow, after the dreadful Day 2 of webbing, the Advent Calendar managed to turn things around and end in spectacular fashion! Hope you’re all ready to celebrate Christmas Eve with your family and loved ones wherever you are in the world!

Day 24

We end the 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar with an electrifying finish with Day 24’s Electro Christmas Tree! This is a very fresh and innovative spin on the traditional Christmas Tree, but with a nod to one of Spider-Man’s main foes, Electro!

This is hands down the most unique LEGO Christmas Tree that’s ever popped out of an Advent Calendar and I also love the classic Green and Yellow Electro colour scheme! A very festive end to a surprisingly amazing LEGO Advent Calendar!

Final Thoughts

The 2024 LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar has really impressed with how its managed to redeem itself after the shocking Day 2 of just Webbing accessories. It seems like every single minifigure and build since then have been very thoughtful takes on Spider-Man, New York and his many enemies and allies.

I think this is one of my favourite Advent Calendars this year, and it sets a very high benchmark of how a licensed Comic Book Advent Calendar can deliver really good builds, balanced with festive seasonal treats.

The minifigures are probably the weakest part of the Advent Calendar, although it’s still nice to get Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost Spider, Venom Green Goblin AND an exclusive Snow Spider-Ham in the mix. I do wish that we had more festive variants like Miles Morales and his Christmas sweater, but maybe in the future!

And that concludes the very first LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar countdown! I hope you’ve enjoyed following along, whether its your first time here, or you’ve been following my other LEGO Advent Calendar countdowns for years!

Thank you so much to everyone that’s been active in the comments section, and I hope you have a very magical Christmas and a Happy New Year!

By the way, the “Day 22” link is broken, and could be fixed when you find the time…

  2. Håkan says:

    @ Ryan Spear

Alas, it seems as if we’ll get no superhero calendar at all, next year.

Personally, I didn’t buy this calendar, and when going through the builds day by day, I find it rather middling, but I’m still a little sad to see the tradition go. I would have hoped for an X-Men calendar or something else that felt more fresh for 2025…

  3. Michael says:

Thanks, Jay! I’ve been visiting your Advent Calendar recaps for several years. I think this is the best Lego calendar I’ve had. I really appreciate it when the built isn’t exactly intuitive and I can come here for clarification. Great blog!

  4. Tracie Clugston says:

Thanks Jay for your blog once again this year.
Hope everyone has an amazing Christmas and new year.
    See you next year.
    Tracie UK

  5. Ryan Spear says:

Out of the four Marvel themed calendars, this one may have been my favorite. I agree that maybe Gwen could’ve had her own Christmas sweater to match Miles, but the Electro tree on the last day was a nice surprise. Wonder if next year will continue with the Spider-man theme since we got a few hints of Mysterio and Electro.

  6. Jedi-Xman says:

Alas we got x2 Spider Ham and no Spidey car.

    Jay! Day 2 webs;🎵 let it go🎵

Strong calendar this year, good figs, I like the nods to other parts of the Spidey lore.

  7. Jonathon says:

I’m more partial to Gobby, Venom, and Robo-Rhino trying to steal Christmas and team Spidey trying to stop them.

  8. Tony Straub says:

I think you have the Green Goblin backwards on his glider. 🙂 He should be pulling the package sleigh. Love the daily posts!!

  9. Håkan says:

    @Fernando Correa

If you’re certain that Green Goblin hasn’t fallen into another slot, you should be able to contact Lego’s Customer Service for a replacement.

  10. Fernando Correa says:

I never day got the Green goblin , i got another mantelpiece and christmas stockings from day 17 ! A bit dissapointed to miss out on the best mini figure !

  11. Jedi-xman says:

Our Day 16 was not the car. We got a build from later on…..

  12. Shaag says:

Hey Jay, loving these as always! I thought the clipped-on web on the newspaper box (early spidey calendar) was supposed to tilt up and hold the backpack inside the box – what do you think?

  13. Håkan says:

    @West

A Dark Green catapult part would have been more obvious, then, but it looks as if that part hasn’t been made in Dark Green, yet.

  14. Tracie says:

Thanks once again Jay from the UK, I really appreciate your blog. I’m doing the Marvel adventure calendar this year.
This 57 year old woman is very appreciative of your help with some of the builds!!

  15. West says:

Day 11’s catapult is definitely a reference to Sandman with the coloring and texture on the base. Makes me wonder if we’ll get any more sly references to Spidey villains via builds.

  16. Kelsey says:

My daughter and I have been following your countdowns for years, we love them and they often help us in figuring out a build that we don’t know what it is! My daughter realized today that the little red piece from day 3, that attaches to the top of the newspaper stand, can also be used as a rollerskate. So, if you got two of those in your day 3 bag like us, that can be a fun little addition for the minifigures to skate around!
    Thanks for the great blog!

  17. Prequelfan says:

uh jay the links for the other calendars are for 2023. That’s the third thing ticked off! I wonder what lego will “absolutely knock it out of the park”

  18. Peter says:

AND – we got an extra scarf for Venom to gift Spidey!!! I am loving it. Wish the playmat was all a street scene. The apartment is kinda out there.

  19. Jonathon says:

I agree with you on the street signs. If it were up to me, they’d read Lee and Ditko.

May have to do that myself.

  20. Eddie says:

    Hey Jay,
I bounce around a lot on the site for the daily countdowns. Just a heads up, the quick links at the bottom of the Spider-Man advent sends me in the way-back machine to the 2023 reviews. Unrelated: I’m looking forward to being dissapoited by a Star Wars weapons rack!

  21. Ulrik Hartig says:

Looks like you forgot to update the text and link in the bottom of the article.
They all link back in time.

  22. Lorraine says:

Not collecting this one, don’t feel I’m missing out, though it is still fun yo check here what’s inside each day!

The links at the bottom to the other calendars are for last year’s 2023 rather than 2024.

  23. Håkan says:

    @Dustin

It’s kinda uncanonical, as it’s been stated in the comics that Pete designed the webbing to dissolve itself within a few hours. (Hence all the scenes where the police squad stands around a webbed up baddie waiting for the dissolving.) Within the gaming context, I guess it works, though…

  24. Dustin says:

So the backpack thing is a big deal in the Spiderman PlayStation game. He hid backpacks all over the city (webbed to stuff) that had fun items in them. So this might be related to that.

  25. Julie says:

I like how the webbing goes up against the newspaper stand while the backpack goes in to the stand to hide it like Spider-Man does in all the comics and tv shows to hide his change of clothes 😁

  26. Peter says:

I saw webbing and thought, “Jay’s gonna hate this!” Glad to be here again this year! 🙂

  27. Håkan says:

    @Scott

Maybe the plastic inset has been inserted upside-down, so you got the build for #23 instead. It has been known to happen before.

  28. Scott says:

I seem to have a mystery box. My Day 1 does shows the Spidey mini-fig on the art but it was just a bag of misc pieces instead. I have no idea what it’s supposed to be so I just put it back for now. Hopefully Day 2 and forward will be correct other than whatever day this bag was intended for.
