2,417-piece LEGO 10360 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft celebrates aviation and spaceflight history

LEGO have officially unveiled 10360 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, the latest from LEGO and NASA’s long-standing partnership!

This 2,417-piece model celebrates one of the most iconic vehicles employed by NASA, the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, modified Boeing 747s that were used to transport Space Shuttle orbiters.

10360 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft will be released on 15 May 2025 for LEGO Insiders (free to register), ahead of a 18 May 2025 general release date, where it will be available exclusively from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

10360 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft is yet another fantastic LEGO NASA model that will definitely appeal to fans of NASA, and spaceflight history, but also aviation enthusiasts, as you’re essentially getting a Boeing 747, plus the Space Shuttle Enterprise, which in 1977, famously released from the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft and glided to its landing!

The model is quite a large display piece, measuring 63cm / 25 in. long, and 27cm / 10.5 in. tall, making this an excellent model to display alongside your other NASA/Space-related LEGO sets.

Check out more photos supplied by LEGO below.

Highlights of the build include building the Boeing 747’s fuselage, plus landing gear that’s reminiscent of the one found in 10318 Concorde, plus a specialised shuttle mounting system for the Enterprise to be attached to it.

The NASA Space Shuttle Enterprise is also mission-ready with an attachable tail cone, detachable engines, and stowable landing gear tucked inside its cargo bay.

As this is pretty much a 2-in-1 set, you also get 2 individual display plaques for both the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft and the Space Shuttle Enterprise as well!

Here’s a look at it displayed alongside last year’s 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System.

10360 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft will be released on 15 May 2025 for LEGO Insiders (free to register) exclusively from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

    Amazing set
I just wish the 747 had a microscale interior

Overall does not look right. I don’t think LEGO has done their best work on this kit . The large size of both aircraft seems to need more pieces to look proper. More pieces would have given a better, smoother looking model. Of course, cost more too.

I just want the B747!!! I got all the Space Shuttle already. 😄😄😄

  4. Pablo says:

All I want to know is if the blue stripe of windows on the plane is printed or a sticker. The thought of having to perfectly line up those windows with stickers in just the right angle and positioning on the tile to make a consistent looking line going down the plane would be enough for me to pass on this set.

  5. Richard Lawson says:

This is old hat, I like the NASA range but I think this is well past it’s sell by date. Definitely one I will be passing on, expect to see this in sales in not too distant future, even then nah!

I’m not exactly sure what you mean; this is a fairly unique take on the already released NASA sets, which are comprised of “high tech” space gear (JWST, The mars line, ect.). Taking a step back to the older days of spaceflight is refreshing, imo.

    Day 1 purchase!
