These sets look amazing! As a fan of Animal Crossing though, I will note that the Creative Houses set contains Fang, and not Whitney. They look quite similar so I understand the confusion, but it is Fang.

  2. Cameron Edwards says:

Can’t quite make it out exactly but it seems like the interior of the museum includes references to the indoor fountain/butterfly room and a similar nod to either the art gallery or aquarium on the other wing. Was hoping to see Francine, Ankha, or Cube in this group… Now I have to hope they sell well enough to keep the series going!

77057 Creative Houses is such a neat idea. I wish LEGO would release a cheap Animal Crossing environment pack for each season.

Wow! I heard no rumors about these! I’m a big ACNH fan, but don’t have any sets. Got my eye on the cozy house!

    • Amelia says:

I totally agree! That cozy house would be the perfect small addition for any of the extra ACNH figs. There’s really not a bad set tho… woohoo!

I know everyone else is super excited about other set reveals and all that… but I LOVE that snail/slug SO MUCH. It shares the same charming design DNA as the frog and I hope it gains as much traction.

I want em in green with a yellow eye print so they could be passed off as a Slimey Slug from Rock Raiders, even if they don’t have the muppety mouths.

    • R.R. Slugger says:

      I couldn’t agree more!

The best part is that, aside from maybe Creator, we’ll be rid of the cherry eyestalk build for snails that started with LEGO SpongeBob Squarepants’ Gary and was maddeningly persistent in most minifig-scale sets with snails (with the exception of the LEGO Movie set, which has the other and less anatomically correct persistent technique) for 19 years. I, for one, am relieved to see a dedicated piece for slugs and snails with the implications of no more Gary Cherries.

(I’m sorry, it’s just that I can’t help but see a bit of Gary each time I see a snail with the cherry piece. It’s annoying. The cherries weren’t even the right color – they were going for the lime eyes instead of the blue stalks because they hadn’t made the printing that fine yet – pardon the pun.)
