First look at the April 2025 LEGO Build-a-Minifigure (BAM) selection!

Here’s your very first look at the new LEGO Build-a-Minifigure selection for April 2025! There are 7 new characters to collect, and wow, do these look terrific! They’re almost at LEGO Collectible Minifigures-levels of good, and I’d daresay some of these designs do surpass traditional CMFs which have become overrun by licensed properties recently.

LEGOFiesta (a fantastic minifigure photographer on Instagram), found these at the LEGO Store in Disneyland Shanghai, and was kind enough to provide permission to share the images on the blog!

These should start trickling out to LEGO Stores around the world from 1 April 2025, so keep an eye out for them in the next few days and weeks!

Check out all the new characters from Build-a-Minifigure April 2025 below! I’ve made up the names.

Purple Chilli Costume Fan

Easter Egg Hunt Fan

Bee Costume Fan

Leg in Cast Fan

Doctor

LEGO Pirates Fan

Ninja

Special thanks to legofiesta for permission to share these images! Do drop him a follow on Instagram if you want to check out some really great LEGO photography!

I’m told in the Lego store that it’s not a chilli…..it’s an aubergine 😂

  2. Victor says:

These have grown on me, but I went today and could only find SOME parts of the new BAM minifigs (all the heads and accessories), but not a single new torso, headpiece, or legs to be found, so not sure what that’s about …
It looked like they restocked a lot of previous pieces, though, so guess I’ll just hafta keep checking!

Speaking of things that are unimpressive…

  4. Lee says:

Omg I love these. Managed to get the full set in Sheffield meadowhall yesterday. Some of the bins had old bams still so it took some searching. The chilli guys torso was the hardest to find.
Thanks for sharing I love this page !!!

  5. Vector says:

Thanks for the info Jay. I went just for the cockatoos, and ended up digging out 3 Lion Knight torsos + legs left over in the bins. I even found 2 versions of the torso!

  6. Andrew H says:

I love the doctor and that Pirate picture tile! I also love how they have the kid with the leg cast and the green hair under the hat. The ‘ninja’ would be great if they had put the belt on the hips, so you could change the belt color. Maybe on a white Karate costume, but I like the black costume better!

  7. Richard says:

The non-Friends/non-Duplo white rabbit should be a big hit for collectors in an otherwise unimpressive collection.

  8. Nick B says:

I was surprised to see two pieces (the cockatoo and the green hair with hat) from Series 27 show up in BAM. Does that happen often?

  9. Jay says:

I am sorry for making up the names

  10. Håkan says:

The selection feels a bit random to me, even by BAM standards. Probably not enough for me to head down to the Lego store, personally, as well as me having a rather heavy schedule at the moment.

    I like the doctor, though.

By the way, the chili is probably magenta, rather than purple…
