Hi Adam, I can help explain. Our review sets usually ship from Denmark. In the UK, EU and in Australia, most of the packing facilities have largely transitioned over to paper bags, which is why you tend to see a lot more paper bags on thrd floor. The sets we receive and the one that I buy for myself come in paper bags.

I see that you’re from the US, and it seems like North America has largely not switched over to paper bags just yet but there are some sets that are starting to be packed in paper.

This has been a very long transition for LEGO and its taken Europe about 3 years to get to this point.

Switching over packing machines and is a huge undertaking, so LEGO might have wanted to ensure they get the process down pat in Europe before rolling it out globally. When the Virginia factory comes online in 2027, those will be fully paper bag-ready.

It's not a rename - the class of ship has been "Firespray" since at least the 90s, when the backstory of it being an OOVO 4 prison patrol ship was established, years before the prequel movies came out. (VaderFan mentions that being a plot point in a Jango Fett video game but it was part of Boba Fett's backstory before Jango Fett was ever created.) Also, the class name is mentioned in the movies the same number of times the name "Slave I" is mentioned: zero times.

How many rangefinders came with the set? I feel the rating is a bit low for a set of this caliber.

I tried reaching out to LEGO on this. They ignored me. Why is it that all reviewers like you continue to receive paper bags but consumers are not receiving them for the same sets? It sure seems like LEGO is trying to look good by making special sets to send to reviewers and then not bothering with the consumer sets.
