Adding the LEGO X-Men: X-Mansion into the Marvel Modulars collection

With the x-citing reveal of 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, which is set to be launched on 1 November 2024, there’s just one thing on everyone’s mind – how does it look alongside all the other Marvel Modular buildings?

In case you missed it, here’s the official announcement of the LEGO X-Men X-Mansion! 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion will be available on 1 November 2024 exclusively from LEGO.com or your local LEGO store and will retail for US$329.99 / AU$499.99 / £289.99.

I’m still working on my review of the LEGO X-Men mansion, but in the meantime, I thought I’d give you a quick look at what the X-Mansion looks like when connected to 76269 Avengers Tower76178 Daily Bugleand 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum!

Special thanks to LEGO for sending this set over for review.

Here’s one configuration, where I’ve sandwiched the X-Mansion between the two Marvel skyscrapers, 76269 Avengers Tower, and 76178 Daily Bugle! This is by far my favourite configuration for the Marvel Modulars, as it looks quite balanced, and it spaces out the Bugle and Avengers Tower to make them look even more prominent.

Here’s what the X-Mansion looks like when connected to 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, which has a cleaner connection between both buildings, but that forces the Daily Bugle to be side by side with the Avengers Tower, which isn’t particularly a great aesthetic.

And as a bonus, because I’ve seen some people talk about how similar the X-Mansion is to the Modular Natural History Museum (spoiler warning: they’re not), here’s a shot of them side by side! The Natural History Museum is far larger than the X-Mansion!

See what I mean? Even though they occupy the same footprint, the Museum is much larger and taller!

So yeah, this is a quick preview of what the LEGO X-Men X-Mansion looks like now that it joins the ranks of Marvel Modular buildings! My full review will be published soon, so keep an eye out for what!

What building do you think we’ll get next year? Hopefully the Baxter Building!

What do you think of how the X-Mansion looks alongside the other Marvel Modulars?

Such a useful set of comparisons; well done, Jay!
Could you do a picture of ONE more line-up though, please?
X-mansion & Sanctum next to each other (which does look good) but with the skyscrapers are either end of the line, sandwiching the smaller buildings (basically just move Bugle to the other end compared to the second line-up above).
    Thanks for your time!

I always thought the Sanctum (whilst a nice set), was a bit small in scale compared to other Modulars. But, in these photos the Sanctum is much taller than the new X Mansion. The new X Mansion is so tiny. Too thin and low, and it looks a bit silly near any of the other modulars. I would definitely have to get two, and give it an extra floor and give it more depth. Although expensive. I think If you do this it could actually be pretty spectacular. One of the good things with the modular builds is that they are quite easy to adapt in this way. Even for a novice builder. Hopefully the X Mansion will come down in price like the Sanctum did after a few months.

Well, in-universe, these buildings aren’t really supposed to be placed next to each other, anyway.

I have heard people talk about modding the X-Mansion so it gets deeper and has an additional story. Could possibly be an improvement.

  4. Skippy says:

Wow, the history museum makes it look like a doll house by comparison! Perfect excuse to pass since I already have one

  5. Heath Evelyn-Liardet says:

It’s a nice size, glad it’s not any bigger as it would drastically increase the price. Can’t wait for November 1st!

  6. Jeremy says:

Wow I didn’t realize how small it was. I wanted it but now I’m not so sure.

  7. Ninjagofan217 says:

Not to be an edger or a karren anyone who’s played the games and watch the movies you know all those buildings aren’t located next to each other!

  8. David Clark says:

IMO the “mansion” will never look right next to the others since it is intended to be the main building on the campus. It should have a refection pool, tennis courts, and other staples of upstate New York.

  9. Alejandra Campos says:

    Love the photos!!
Either the mansion is small or the Avengers Tower and Daily Bugle are HUGE!!!

  10. Tom Kuperus says:

Ungortunately not impressed with it. These modulars do not look great together. This is no Ninjago-city.
