I graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design and have been a professional artist for twenty-five years. My work is in public and private collections throughout the United States and Canada. I have had both solo and group shows in many locations throughout New England. My work is included in the books American Artists - An Illustrated Survey of Leading Contemporaries and Contemporary American Women Sculptors, as well as having been reviewed many times in The Providence Journal, The Phoenix, The New Paper, and U.R.I. Magazine. It was the subject of two feature articles in The Observer.

I recently completed a sculptural frieze commissioned by The Marriot Corporation for Women and Infants Hospital, and have worked restoring architectural sculpture for building facades and as an exhibit designer at Roger Williams Park Zoo.

I've always been interested in both painting and sculpture and often combine the two. Sometimes the paint lies on top of the completely three-dimensional sculpture which creates a more delicate tension, and sometimes an actual two-dimensional painting is incorporated into a narrative sculptural relief. My landscape paintings have become more atmospheric and abstract lately and that's when the sculpture became more highly rendered and specific. The flow of work over a lifetime has repeatedly brought two and three dimensions together and apart. This means of creating has kept me energized and has allowed great freedom to explore new possibilities.

My paintings currently can be viewed at Five Main Gallery in Wickford, RI, Uncommon Art in Bristol, RI and Nest in Dedham, MA.
