Mary studied painting and printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited in solo shows at MIT, the ONE Center and the Bromfield Gallery (Boston) and in many group shows.

Mary offers art classes for teens and adults, including private and small group lessons in painting, drawing, printmaking and mask-making, as well as studio rentals for individuals and small groups.

ARTIST STATEMENT
"When I begin a painting or print I don't have a preconceived notion of what the finished piece will look like. My  process is one of referencing recognizable forms and using color in layers and fragments as physical evidence and metaphor."
