Sherri Snyder has been painting watercolors for 26 years. She began exhibiting in Boston, MA and has shown in many galleries and shows in New England, including VOILA gallery in Wickford, RI, Celebrations Gallery in Pomfret, CT, and Cambridge Artist Cooperative. In 2008, she was accepted as an artist member to the Rhode Island Watercolor Society. In 2009 her paintings won second place at the Rhode Island Flower Show in Providence. In addition to painting, she also facilitates watercolor and "creativity" workshops.
Sherri Snyder Watercolors is now "housed" at Hattie's Country Store in Foster, Rhode Island. Hattie's Country Store is both art studio and art gallery of fine crafts. On any given weekend, you might find me painting on the front porch of the Shop! Hattie's is nestled in the country, surrounded by lush gardens of vegetables and flowers, which are often subjects for paintings. Hattie's is filled with artistic creations from hand-painted gourds, to woven rugs, watercolor paintings, fleece wraps, carved wood utensils, photography, hand poured soy candles, zesty cooking aprons, room sprays, and more! You will find the unusual, funky, colorful, playful and exquisitely made crafts and fine arts.
